Fall 2006 to Present
STUDENT RESEARCH ASSISTANT.        University of Rhode Island
• Data collection, processing and analysis of towed undulating vehicle data (Scanfish) for the mid-shel front project and thesis work.

Summer 2004 to Summer 2006
RESEARCH ASSISTANT.        University of Washington, Puget Sound Regional Synthesis Model
• Originated idea and creation of matlab GUI for rapid examination of data from all PRISM data collection cruises.  Also built metadata for the PRISM data set and charged with responsibility for minutes at PSMEM meetings.
• Created another GUI for educational purposes from a box model of the Puget Sound.
• Created a python program for cruise ship effluent tracer from a particle tracing program and a POM circulation model.

Summer 2004 to Spring 2005
STUDENT ASSISTANT.        University of Washington, Integrated Observational Platforms
• Independently tested calibrations of new pitch/roll and compass equipment on Seagliders. Plotting data from completed missions to enable analysis by department. 
• During the summer volunteered to work any necessary shifts to deploy gliders on schedule.

Summer 98, 02, 03
COMPUTER TECH/DATA ENTRY.         Anchorage, AK, Party World Rentals
• Setup new computerized rental system improving inventory control and enhancing ability to bill customers accurately.
• Compiled and analyzed rental systems data in Excel providing improved analysis of business/customer trends.
• Created MS-Access database to track their costume rentals business.
• Answered phone, worked directly with clients to solve their problems, helped clients fill large orders, and communicated with delivery personnel and clients. Regularly demonstrated strong service focus, dealt with customer issues directly to ensure satisfaction and demonstrated good communications skills.
